This mural was painted with acrylic paint to "spice up" a plain wooden door in order to match the decor of the room. This mural measures 2 feet by 3 feet.

Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" Mural by Nicole McClain
Sleeping Beauty began as a half body shot of her holding a squirrel in her hand (totally unrealistic for humans, I know, but again this is Sleeping Beauty). I etched in a few bunnies that would eventually appear to be resting on a rock landscape.

As I began painting, I saw something more than just her and her furry friends. I envisioned a tree on a sky background.

So with a quick hand and some painting tools, I "planted" a tree for her squirrel friend. The mural nbow measures 7 feet high by 6.5 feet wide.
